I do a lot of online surveys and so, get the odd voucher to spend at my leisure. Today I got a lovely £10 capital bond voucher through my door and so I headed to Debenhams.
I already had the Urban Decay Naked palette but was considering taking the plunge and buying the 2 palette. When I got to the counter I started to think about getting the Glinda palette instead, as I like the idea of being able to re-use the palette for other Urban Decay eyeshadows. The lovely girl on the counter (who's name I can no longer remember because I'm rubbish with names) offered a makeover using the Glinda palette to give me a better idea and help me make up my mind.
It started with just using the palette however we decided to go all out and do the whole face. I haven't tried that many UD products and I'd always wanted to try the Naked foundation. Now was my chance and I have to say I fell in love with the foundation. The final outcome of the makeover? I ended up with the Naked 2 palette purely because I thought I would get more use out of it.
I loved the look she created and I now want to go back and buy, not only the Glinda palette, but the foundation and the brow box, which I'd never seen before and loved it when she used it on me.
Overall a very successful shopping trip, even if I am going to spend all my money on Urban Decay next time I get paid :D
