Hello there my friends! It is Wednesday and therefore time for yet another review. This month I've been a little obsessed with my hair, stripping the colour, testing out a bucket load of new products to make it all silky shiny soft. This product was featured as one of my June favourites, however I have recently changed my mind about it. Here's why...
After using once I noticed a massive difference in how healthy my hair felt. It really gave it a healthy, nourished, soft feel. I've been trying to grow my hair for a while and the best way to get hair to grow quickly is to keep it all shiny and healthy.
You need a teeny tiny amount of this and you get a whopping 100ml! I usually rub it all over my hands and run it through towel dried hair, focusing on those dry straggly ends. I then usually let it dry naturally unless I've got to go somewhere. I love how quickly this absorbs into the hair and doesn't leave it feeling greasy, which was one of my main concerns when it came to using oil on my hair. There's just something about the word oil that fills me with fear! I will say that this is quite greasy in on the hands, It takes a good strong soap to get this stuff off the skin.
However, and here's the kicker, this is chock a block full of silicone. In fact the moroccan argan oil it claims to use, makes up a teeny tiny amount of the overall ingredients used.
It makes me angry that products like this are allowed to advertise as something they are not, just because of a few technicalities. Yes this made my hair feel soft, but I would rather not be slathering my hair in silicone. It's basically a cosmetic fix, gives you nice shiny soft hair on the surface, but doesn't do you much good underneath.
