Decorating Diaries | Day 3 & 4

I decided to smoosh days 3 & 4 together because day 3 was pretty much the same as days 1 & 2, nothing much exciting happening there. But I am happy to say that the walls are finished woo hooooo!!!! They still look patchy but paint is expensive guys and painting is tiring so I gave up. 

I have also managed to get the skirting boards all lovely and painted sparkly white! They look so much better now then before when they were that creamy old white kind of colour, mmm yummy. The room looks so much brighter and now that all the walls are painted, it is time to move on to my last stage of painting, the bed. 

My bed is a darker wood than the rest of my furniture, so I decided that I'm going to paint it white (my wardrobe and desk will be white so we'll have a good bit of furniture matching going on). I've given the room a good hoovering with my trusty Dyson and put down the plastic sheet one last time ready for bed painting. 

Unfortunately I have to disassemble my bed, bring all the pieces down to my new room and re-assemble it. I'm going to leave that job to my dad, dad's love a good opportunity to use their shiny tool boxes. I'll have to paint it when it's built so I don't paint over any vital screw holes.  

It's nearly there, I can feel the finished room feeling approaching and it feels gooood. I'm excited to get my new desk just so that I finally have somewhere to put my laptop and it means I can blog and youtube my days away in comfort.
