Lush Grease Lightening

I'm always on the hunt for spot treatments that actually work. I've tried balms, gels, masks etc and I'm disappointed more often then I am pleasantly surprised. After watching a Missglamorazzi video in which she mentioned the Lush Grease Lighting spot treatment was her treatment of choice, I thought I'd give it a try.

This gel treatment is made from Tee Tree and Witch Hazel, so like all Lush products it's natural and doesn't contain any harsh chemicals, perfect for sensitive skin. You wouldn't be able to put makeup on top of this as it peels off, so I like to put it on before bed. It's quite a runny consistency so it can be a bit tricky to apply, not to mention my pump is a little stiff so I usually have to press hard, which makes a large amount squirt out at once. It feels like water when applied to the skin, it's very light weight but does dry making the skin a little tighter, a bit like a peel off face mask.

As for the results, well it takes a long time but you do see results. You have to be very disciplined and make sure you apply this every night if you want to see the spot disappearing. It's more of a treatment to help the spot heal naturally, rather than a fast action kind of treatment. I think If you get spots regularly this might not be enough for you. However if you are one of those lucky people who only get the odd one now and again, this is good to have in the cupboard.

What is your spot treatment of choice?
