The Sunday Post: Weekly Roundup

Cheeky Bacardi and Coke to celebrate Christmas// Directions hair dye in Plum & Cerise// Final Christmas Cardiff chums night out// Purple hair// Re-united with Barry// I finally found the Ben & Jerry's Peanut Butter Cup ice cream// Vogue, I love Cara Delevingne// Decorated our house// My mothers blue & white Christmas tree//

I've had a fairly eventful week this week, I celebrated Christmas with my lovely Cardiff friends, traveled back to the good ole' North and did some Christmas decorating!

The week did start a little bit stressful, what with it being the last week of Uni before Christmas, I had some deadlines and a lot of work to do. But by Wednesday everything was handed in and I could finally relax a bit and enjoy the Christmas atmosphere!

Then Thursday rolled around and I had to go in for my last Comedy module lecture, we watched The Hangover Part 2 so it wasn't exactly hard work, we also may or may not have had a cheeky festive beverage at the back of class (completely allowed I might add). Later on that night we had a double 21st to celebrate and a course Christmas night out. Let's just say the wine flowed, we all got very merry and danced... a lot!

Friday was the final day of lectures and to celebrate I had some friends over to the flat and had a Domino's pizza to say our farewells. I also attempted to dye my hair, it did not go to plan. I wanted to give my hair a soft tint of purple/pink, however I forgot about my grown out highlights and I now have streaky purple hair. I don't mind, it looks kind of punk rock so I reckon I can pull it off.

Saturday was a day of packing and traveling, anyone else get to the point where you have done a journey so often you know the same service stations like the back of your hand? It was pretty easy to get back from Cardiff, usually we get stuck in horrendous traffic but it was smooth sailing!

Today has definitely filled me with the Christmas spirit though. I helped my dad put up the decorations and watched Polar Express. Then I went to the mothers for a classic Sunday roast, it was delicious and now I am stuffed!

It's back to work tomorrow night and I do need to get some Uni work done over the Christmas holidays, so I don't expect the next few weeks to be quite so eventful. I hope you have all had a good week and are not getting too stressed during this very hectic period, remember to keep calm and wrap presents!
