Essie Tea & Crumpets

As spring rolls around I thought it time to crack open the Essie Tea & Crumpets. This is one of my all time favourite nail polish shades and the pearly finish adds an extra dimension to a classic nude. I always find that this makes my long nails seem longer, it blends with my skin tone so well that it gives the appearance of what I call 'Disney princess' hands. That just means that your nails and skin blend together so well that you can't tell where your fingers stop and your nails begin.

This takes about 3 coats to get a nice opaque colour, but I like to do 2 just so it's sheer enough to see the white tips of my nails underneath. This is a perfect pastel pink to add to your collection for spring, but it's also a classic staple that you can wear all year round, nude shades never go out of fashion.

Have you tried Essie Tea & Crumpets? What shades will you be wearing this spring?

  1. This is such a gorgeous shade! It looks almost pearlescent and like the perfect nude! I'm yet to try out an Essie Polish but I may add this to my list.

  2. Oooh, this is a gorgeous shade! Essie is a brand that I never looked at twice (I know, weird), but I think I might need to stop by a stand next time.

    1. It took me a lot longer than most to get into Essie, I still prefer my Barry M polishes but my Essie collection is growing x
