1. H&M Checked Shirt
I've been looking for a nice, oversized check shirt for a while. I saw this when I went into H&M the other day and it feels so soft! It's the perfect length to wear as an over shirt or under a jumper for extra warmth.
2. New Look Zip Back Knitted Jumper
Jumpers like this are great for layering and I really want something that's versatile. With this, I can wear it over shirts, with skirts, with jeans, with leggings, over dresses, the possibilities are endless!
3. Tessa Red Tartan Skirt
I want to jump onto the tartan skirt bandwagon but the pleats in most of the skirts do not agree with me. Big flared out skater skirts really don't suit me, so I've been searching far and wide for a more A-Line skater skirt and ta da!
4. Ark Ostend Cut Out Boots
I love cut out boots but I couldn't find any that I really warmed to, some had slightly pointy toes, which I hate, and some just looked too flimsy. These have the magical combination of perfect shape and perfect amount of chunkiness.
5. Nica Sara Satchel
Nica are one of, if not my all time favourite designers when it comes to bags. This little satchel did not go unnoticed when I was having a cheeky browse on John Lewis. I love the damask pattern embossed on the faux leather.
6. Zara Checked Coat
I was initially searching for a grey wool coat when I stumbled on this. I love double-breasted coats and jackets at the moment and as you can see from my previous picks, I'm also partial to a splash of tartan.
I always think it's strange when a trend becomes popular and at first you're not too fussed about it, then suddenly you wake up and you just need it in your life. That's what has happened with me and the tartan trend, I'm a bit late to the party but I just can't get enough!
What's on your wish list this month?
I'm like you, it's taken me a while to like the whole tartan thing! I have also been looking fora tartan shirt as the one I liked in Mango has sold out. This month, I'm tempted by a pair of Daniel Footwear Wedges which I was hoping would down it in the sale but sadly no! I like this post. Thanks
