This week for Fashion February, we were set the task to style the loved/hated Harem pants. I have seen many a woman roaming the shops wearing these comfy, slouchy devils. Personally, they wouldn't usually be my pant of choice, but when going about the challenge of styling these tricky garments, I think I may have been converted. Yes I do think that they make you look like you've done something unspeakable in your trousers, but paired with some hardcore silverware and buckle boots they are actually quite appealing.
With the above look I wanted to keep away from the usual boho, slouchy jumper with sandals look and go for something that I might have the cojones to actually wear. I've gone for the H&M jersey Harem pants in black, paired with a white H&M short jersey top keeping with the current monochrome trend. I then went for a few 'rock chic' accessories to give it an edgier style. For jewellery I went with a Linn Lomo Salome Earcuff, a New Look Limited Silver Grunge Spike Necklace and some Silver Dragon Claws from Etsy. Then to finish it all off I've added some very Catwoman-esque, Cigdem Nappa Leather Lace Up Platform Ankle Boots from Paolo Shoes, paired with a gorgeous Micheal Kors Natalia Clutch bag.

I felt the same about harem pants...I wasn't fully sure if I liked them but now that I've looked around and done some research I found loads of ways to style them. Absolutely loving your look !!
