I haven't done a Beauty Bite video over on my channel in absolutely forever, so I thought I'd do one on the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water because everyone and their dog wants to know what it's like.
I've tried my fair share of Micellar waters including the cult classic, Bioderma. Yes Bioderma is unbelievably amazing and I haven't found a cheaper water yet that can match it stride for stride, but there are a few that can give it a run for its money and that includes this guy! The Garnier water is a high-street rival to the much-loved L'Oreal Miceallar water. It is an equal price; only you get twice as much product in the Garnier water than in the L'Oreal, it's actually double the size. It does an amazing job at melting away stubborn makeup, not quite as easily as Bioderma but 10x better than any makeup wipe.
I use Micellar water to take my makeup off before having a good cleanse and I have found that it is a little bit drying after use. For me this isn't a problem as I'm cleansing straight after. Even when I'm being a bit lazy in the evening and only want to use the cleansing water I always put moisturiser on after so the drying is once again not a problem.
As to which I prefer? Well Bioderma will always be at the top for me but as a lower cost alternative I think the Garnier water is on par with the L'Oreal and you get double for your money so in this round, Garnier wins!

I use Nuxe's cleansing water and it's really good but I'll always find that the best make-up remover/skin cleanser will forever be Simple's range! x
