It's no secret that I'm partial to a bit of grunge, I love to feel comfortable but also look stylish and this outfit is perfect for both of those points. Grunge is a trend that somehow makes it's way into the seasons every year, it's so versatile and is truly timeless. 

I incorporated as much hard ware as I could, I wanted it to look as though there was no way you could touch without pricking your finger or potentially hurting yourself in some way. I don't know if that's a very scary way of looking at putting an outfit together, it probably is. My favourite piece from this outfit has to be the Khaki parka, I love that it isn't the typical military style and has quite a feminine cut to it. It definitely gives a softer edge to  a very harsh outfit. 

The beauty of this is that you can carry on layering for an outfit more suited to colder climates or keep it as is for a perfect spring/summer look. Maybe just swap the fur lined Dr Martens with non-lined or even some black pumps.
