This week has been fairly busy, what with Easter being last Sunday and the two essays I'm trying to get through. I hope you all had a lovely Easter, I know I nearly made myself sick with how much chocolate I ate, it was awesome! I've spent the majority of my week multi tasking, I've only got two more essays to write till I'm officially done with Uni and it feels amazing. I've been spending my days half writing essays and half painting, I'm jazzing up my Ikea furniture in my room, I hate plain wood. It's all looking pretty snazzy if I do say so myself.

I did reach a point last weekend where I thought I would never ever want to see another piece of chocolate ever again, I've since decided to get back on the healthy train. I started with a few detox waters to get me into the swing of things, now I'm fully on the fruit and veg kick. I've been having green smoothies for breakfast, which really fill me up till lunch! Sometimes I'm not even hungry when it gets to lunch, which is a rare occasion. That and the Blogilates beginners calendar has set me back on the path to a fit and healthy life. I'm even thinking of trying out a few vegan recipes, I would never go full on, dedicated vegan, I love milk chocolate too much and I do love me some chicken. The thing I love about vegan recipes is that they are really creative with their ingredients and I love a good cookery challenge.

This is my last week at home, I go back to Cardiff for the last two weeks of my term and then I'm back home for good. Hopefully the last weeks will go smoothly, no more mental breakdowns for me thanks, I've had my fill for now.

How was your Easter? Feeling like a diet is in order after all that yummy chocolate?

  1. I feel like I need to give up chocolate for a year haha! Really should go back to Blogilates myself, that lass is just so chirpy ^^. Best of luck! Hope to see a post about your Ikea furnitures refurbishment.
