Engraved Wooden Aztec iPhone Case

As soon as I got my iPhone 5s I rushed around the shops to find a suitable phone case. It's so light and thin that there was no way I was not going to put it into a sturdy case. Four months later and that original case became dirty and chipped and it was time to upgrade to something a little more classy, cue the magical world of Etsy.

I love unique cases and I spotted the wooden ones a while back but never found one that I really fell in love with. As I was scouring the many pretty phone cases I came across this one, a dark wood with a ornately engraved Aztec pattern. I fell in love immediately and placed the order, I was a little sceptical what with the seller, KongCases, being all the way in China, wether it would be real wood.

It did take a little longer to get here then usual but it was worth the wait. The quality is top notch and it really is wood, it smells like wood and it feels like wood. It comes in two parts that clip together in the middle, but it's not that noticeable where the join is unless you look right up close. My only peeve is that the top on/off button is a little hard to press because the cut outs where the buttons are, are very deep.

If you would like to purchase one of these stunners for yourself then you can head over to here, there are a few sellers that do this design so it's completely up to you which one you choose.
