The Sunday Post: It's Nearly All Over

A free trip to see Wicked courtesy of my big brother// It will not stop pissing it down in Cardiff// First skype session in a while with any of my family, of course the first person was my sister// One of my favourite ever songs, In My Life by The Beatles// Gonna start watching the True Detective// Oh Tiger bread, why are you so bad yet taste so good?!// Nice view whilst I eat a spot of lunch// Coconut pancakes for breakfast// Oh look it's raining again in Cardiff, light showers you say? Ummm it doesn't look light to me// A cheeky shop in Superdrug to cheer myself up// Trying out Beyonce's Superpower music video makeup// The Muppets never ever fail to make me smile// Throw back Thursday, I'm such a little angel!// Trying out this white nails trend that seems to be going round// The day of the ever dreaded presentation// Completed presentation celebratory pizza!// Trying to test out this 'exercise makes you happy' theory// I now have to meditate every night before bed and I have to say I do enjoy it//

Not going to lie, this week has been rather rough. The presentation I had on Friday was making me so anxious that I had a good few panic attacks which really knocked me off my feet for a few days. Since then I've been doing anything and everything to keep my mood elevated. This means remembering to do my #100happy days which I re-started after failing miserably the first time around, throwing myself back into health and fitness and practicing this happy thoughts thing. The banishing negative thoughts is the hardest thing ever! You get so comfortable with your brain just telling you all these horrible things that it feels so unnatural to actually force yourself to think of something positive. But I'm really really trying this time and my uni work has finally started to ease up.

It was the last day of term on Friday and we are now officially in the Easter holidays, yey! I'm staying in Cardiff for the first week to hopefully make a good start on my final two essays. Then I'm off back home to enjoy a nice 2 week break (with occasional essay writing). I can't even begin to describe how much I'm looking forward to going home or how happy I am that I only have technically 2 more weeks left of university. Yes I'm slightly worried about the prospect of becoming a real life adult with real life problems to deal with, but it's nice to not have to be in education anymore.

Today will be very much like yesterday, I'm off to the gym in a bit to burn off the melt in the middle pudding I just ate for lunch (I'm trying to get rid off all my bad food this weekend so I can start fresh tomorrow) and then I will come home and continue to be lazy and watch various TV shows on my laptop, yey for lazy Sunday afternoons!

What was your week like this week? Anything exciting happen?

Sunday Post: Home Is Where The Heart Is

Finally got back into my email after it being hacked and had the pleasure of going through all the emails// New Arctic Monkeys tee// Rainbow reflection on my bedroom carpet// New video, check out my favourite photo apps// Mystery bruise?// Stretching out my Zara leggings because I shrunk them// Healthy cucumber water to refresh// I reached 200 Bloglovin followers!! Thanks so much guys!// Raiding my dads vinyl collection// Wearing my Labyrinth tee// New Revlon nail polish in Pink Quartz// Not very good weather for filming//

I've been at home (again) this week because our University has a thing called reading week, it's basically a week off where we are all supposed to be good little students and study are butts off. However the majority of us take the opportunity to go home and save some money on food and laundry.

I have spent most of the time working on my uni projects, so once again I have not managed to do a lot of the stuff I wanted to do whilst I was home. But on the plus side, the project that has practically drove me to insanity and sickness is nearly completely filmed and edited. The thought of handing it in and being rid of it for the rest of my days makes me extremely happy.

But moving away from boring worky stuff. I managed to get a new video filmed ready for Monday. I did the TMI tag and I didn't realise how super long it would take to film and edit! I also forgot to bring my external mic with me so the sound is a bit naff, I can only apologise. But I'm pretty happy with it despite the crappy sound and I hope you will all enjoy it when it hits your eyeballs.

This week I also hit my next target of 200 Bloglovin followers, it may not be thousands like most bloggers, but I am so happy and thankful that you guys follow this blog. I hope you enjoy reading it and I do try and make every post a bit better than the last. I do feel like my writing gets better and more relaxed every time I write a post, so hopefully that adds up to a more interesting read, or maybe not? I don't know, you tell me.

I travel back to Cardiff on Tuesday so these next few days are going to be pretty much jam packed with last minute readings, note writing and editing. It sounds super mega awesome fun doesn't it! I hope you all had a good week and I hope this next week will be more interesting for you then it will be for me.

The Sunday Post: Last Week At Home

Brand new threads!// Barry before bed// My dad is a strange one// OOTD ready for shopping// New navy Dune bag// A rather nice water jug I wanted to steal from ASK restaurant Warrington//

This week marks the end of my Christmas holidays, tomorrow I make the 4 hour journey from my hometown back to Cardiff. This last week has pretty much been all hands on deck regarding Uni work. I finished working full-time on Thursday, and since then I've just been planning and filming. Of course I managed to squeeze in a few fun activities when I could.

Everytime I'm home I try and fit in a good shopping sesh at the Trafford Centre in Manchester. It is my all time favourite place to shop and I was on a mission to try and get the Bleach London Dip Dye Kit, which I have to say I failed at. But I have now ordered it online and should have a review up by the end of this week, exciting stuff!  I was also in need of a new handbag, my River Island one has started to fall apart. I picked up a really nice box style bag from John Lewis. It's in navy instead of my preferred black (I'm rather in to navy at the moment) It's by Dune and it's definitely something a bit different to add to my ever growing bag collection.

Finally I rounded the week of with a very tasty meal at ASK restaurant in Warrington with my friend Hannah. I had a large pizza all to myself but my attention was on this unusual water jug. As you get older you start to notice yourself getting ever the more excited over homeware, a pretty cushion or an interesting salt shaker is all it takes to get you brimming with joy. If anyone knows where I can get a jug like this, just send me a link because I need it in my life. Also, just adding this tiny little detail here, I've changed my name! Not my actual legal name but my blog name. Yes I love Cheshire Cat and it will always be me, but I wanted my blog/YouTube to be individual and unique, a product all of it's own. I decided that if that was what I wanted for it, it couldn't happen with the same name as a very well known literary character.

And so today, my final full day in the North, I had to go up to Delamere Forest to film a few shots for a project. It rained a lot and it was freezing and pretty much an unsuccessful trip all around. Now I have about a million and one things to do before I go to sleep tonight and then I leave bright and early tomorrow morning. I hope you all have a great week and have had a chilled out, stress free weekend!

The Sunday Post: Christmas & Sickness

First Lush bath in forever! I don't have a bath at Uni// New bed covers from Asda// Trying to be healthy, failing later in the day by eating extortionate amounts of chocolate// Flu hits and completely takes over my Christmas// I found my old Gameboy!// It's officially Christmas, watching the Snowman// New read, I got my Lula magazine through the post// A lovely Dragon Hottie from my Secret Santa! His name is Smaug// Just a taster of the presents I got for Christmas//

I would first of all like to apologize for my absence, the combination of working full-time, a 2 week long flu and Uni work has kept me very busy (and exhausted) over Christmas. I did manage to have a Christmas though, I got to see my family and eat my body weight x10 in chocolate. I am now however, very wobbly in the thigh and stomach region.

I got a lot of lovely gifts from friends and family, PJ's, makeup, Lush goodies and many other lovely things. I even got a cocktail making set from my brother! I'm sure I'll be able to put it to good use, being a student and all, I'm a trained professional.

I'm hoping in the next few days I'll have a spare 5 minutes here and there to take some blog photos, and maybe even film a video or two, though I doubt it. I will be posting a little bloopers video over on my channel though, just so my subscribers know I haven't disappeared off the face of the earth! I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and have exciting plans for New Year, I myself will be heading to a friends house (after I finish work) to bring in the New Year with non-alcoholic beverages, as I'm driving.

Did you guys have a nice Christmas? What have you got planned to bring in 2014?
