I've been meaning to put this post up for a while and was meant to do it before Summer was well and truly over (I failed a bit there didn't I!) what with this being a very summery shade and all. Rimmel's Coral In Gold is a really pretty orange-red gold colour which gives a gorgeous gold shimmer to the lips. In the bullet it looks bright orange but when applied sheers out nicely to give a nice subtle colour.
The way I always explain the finish to people, is that it's like Nars Orgasm, but for your lips. It gives a sheer base colour of orange-red and then adds very very fine splashes of gold glitter to give it that iridescent glow. The texture is as smooth and comfortable to wear as pretty much all of Rimmel's Lasting Finish lipsticks, the pigmentation is great but because it is such a sheer shade, it will wear off pretty easily. A really pretty lipstick and a Summer must have, even if you do have to wait till next Summer!
Have you tired Coral In Gold? What do you think of Rimmel lipsticks?
